Job Description
Summary
A postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology is available in Dr. Hongjie Li's lab in Huffington Center on Aging and Department of Molecular and Human Genetics. The lab is well-funded by NIH/NIA, and Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). The lab has developed different single-cell sequencing platforms and is now co-leading the Fly Cell Atlas collaborative project. Our research will focus on developing and applying multi-omics technologies (transcriptomics, epigenomics, and proteomics), and combining them with fly and mouse models to study brain aging and age-related intestinal cancers. The candidate is expected to develop algorithms for analyzing and integrating single-cell multi-omics data. For details, visit lab website: https://hongjielilab.org
